Change Your Mind

In ST Review on Tue this week, there was an article by Oliver Sacks (his newest book, The Mind’s Eye ). Reminded me of Norman Doidge’s The Brain That Changes Itself.

Shout that people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field. The grass withers and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord. And so it is with people. The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever. – Isa 40:6-8

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; – Ps 139:13-14
