Is that all there is?

Looks like a good book. Reminds me of Halftime by Bob Buford. Also reminds me of Big Questions, Worthy Dreams by Sharon Parks.

Everyone ends up in a muddled middle, where ‘‘the best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity,’’ as William Butler Yeats put it. I am convinced that much of this pastoral and practical confusion has emerged because we have not clarified the real differences, the needs, and the somewhat conflicting challenges of the two halves of our own lives. So let’s try.
