Lovely church. Never been inside, much less attend a wedding. Fans for the guests – very thoughtful gesture. Red brick buildings have a certain charm. Lovely pictures of the couple. Rev Nambiar: “She looks stunning. He looks… stunned.” :p

This fine building, standing on spacious grounds quite close to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, is a silent and strikingly attractive witness to a century of Singapore history. It was erected to serve as a chapel for the British Military Garrison which, in colonial times, had occupied the site on which it stands. During the war years, it was used by the occupying forces as an ammunition store. Since 1971, the building has been the meeting place for St. George’s Church, Tanglin, in the Diocese of Singapore. It was gazetted as a national monument on 10 November 1978.
Old friends I haven’t met for a very very long time. My fault :p Now there’s time. Good. Shouldn’t wait till the next wedding to catch up!
Polaroid. Smile. Shoot. Wait. Laugh.
Had my cake. Wasn’t supposed to eat it (?). Ate it anyway :p
