It is a blessing to have friends over for dinner. The friends are a blessing; having the place and resources to provide a dinner are also blessings. Both are blessings we may take for granted in the busyness of everyday life.
So it is good to stop and celebrate God’s provision in the form of friendships, shelter and food. This evening, we also celebrated the coming beginning of a new season for two of our friends. I realise on hindsight that the very departure of these two friends also means the beginning of a new season for those of us adjusting to their soon-to-be absence.
This recipe is inspired by the cooking adventures of The Little Teochew 🙂
Even better the next day 🙂
