Fuel up

Was a turbulent ride back to SG from HK – the pilot primed us 3 times before takeoff. Thankfully I made a wise choice for breakfast – light enough to just about withstand the lunging and tossing, but heavy enough to keep me alert.

The last time I had fresh HK fishballs was in 2007, so I was thrilled to savour them again πŸ™‚ Hmm. This is the reason why I don’t eat fishballs back in SG – no matter what people say about the ‘springyness’ of XYZ stall’s fishballs and meepok, they can’t beat greyish HK fishballs made with smooth fish meat, accented with dried orange peel… Hmm…
