To the Blue Mountains

The Tapping Game: “Ok, I’ll say a number, and we all tap that number on our laps, as quickly as we can. Ready?”

*Enthusiastic nods*

“1…2…3…2…3…1…4…6…5…1…3… 230!”

Ethan: “Godma! That’s going to take too long!!” *peals of laughter*

“Ok, Joye joye, what would you like me to draw next?”

… “Alright, no more… you’ve run out of limbs for me to draw on, sweetheart…”

“One of the best ways to keep them quiet for a while is to give them something to eat. Keeps their mouths full and hands busy.”

I see now why they call it the Blue Mountains…

Windspeed at Echo Point: 40km/h. Hang on tight everybody!

(I have my Daddy. I’m not scared of no wind…)

Ethan getting our car started 🙂

It’s very humbling to see rolling acres of green canopy again. It goes on forever! God is really clever. And great. This is why I like going to the mountains. Get blown away by winds that become still when the Lord says so. Marvel at trees that dance to the tune of His creation song. Feel our smallness, and remember God’s bignessFrom the mountains to the valleys

What do tired angels do after a time up in the mountains?

Suck thumb and nap, of course!
