T.C.S. – Caring About Care

[1st 2 graphics from Alphachimp University]

Went into class about 1.5 weeks late, and hurrying to catch up. But found that it all worked out well – the assignments I needed to work on had their answers in the things I’d already been doing during my absenteeism. So all I had to do was pull it together, albeit differently, and re-present to my classmates in a crystallised form. Perfect.

Module 1 was also on something which has driven much of my year-out from work: self-care. “Self-care” sounds selfish, but approached with the right heart, it is done with a much bigger purpose in mind. To not violate myself, and in doing so, not violate the relationships and people I hold dear… and become a better reflection of Christ.

So glad we’ve started with this module. What a good way to frame the future months! Begin with consciously “being”, then layer on the “thinking” and “doing”.

Still have 2/3 of Module 1 to clear, plus a backlogged Mentor Call which I missed because it took place at 3.00am Singapore time. Back to the drawing board! 🙂

    Dear Wendy,
Sounds like htings may be getting a bit rough for you these days judging from your blog.
Hope that you can muster up the strength needed through Him that provides our every need.
Try to take it easy and not get easily flustered!!

    Praying for you,

    • Hi C, thanks! 🙂

Well, life’s exciting that way, no? :p haha. A bit rough… but nothing God can’t see to 🙂 Just need to wait, keep in step with Him, listen then act. Surely will have the strength to – He will provide.
