I would like to work in a bookstore someday. Just imagine – being surrounded by rows and rows of prose. Stories, truths, pictures… all evidence of an examined life or two. The willingness to share what went right, and what’s still wrong (and being worked on). And sometimes, writing that’s just because. Life is short (and sometimes, tough enough) – don’t be too serious 🙂
“No, open one!”
Hmm, maybe. Maybe not. A bit of a stretch from an inspiring video. But love all the ideas that started pouring out: books + stationery + baking + awesome friends + … LOVE IT.
But for now, just appreciate the artistry – and let it fan the flame of current dreams.
The video reminded me of a lovely piece shared over email recently – A Girl You Should Date. Maybe it does get a bit soppy, but… LOVE IT! … A put-a-silly-grin-on-your-face-for-the-rest-of-the-day type of writing. 🙂
“To girls who read!”
And a third one – The Crayon Fascist. Hilarious. Nothing quite beats funny writing about stationery.
