Learning about my learning.
They call it double-loop learning.
Apparently there’s even triple- and quadruple-loops.
Can’t remember what they mean/refer to now, but the images make me think of springs. Or gloriously mindless doodles.
Yup – Skunkwworks.
My real-world learning lab. Part organic, part systematic. Part confident, part stomach-butterflies. Part-planned, part-spontaneous. And lots more types of part-this, part-that etc…
First “lab” project. Realised how much I’ve forgotten. Realised how much I’d known and built up over the years – so blessed.
Somewhere in the middle of that long but adrenaline-driven evening, I realised with a gasp: double-loop learning!
Because I’ll never pass this way again.
We can only learn how to do something for the first time, once.
We can unlearn and re-learn, but we never get the chance to learn it with totally new eyes, ever again.
So I must capture it. Not just what I learn, but the process/journey of getting there.
I don’t know, frankly…
Just do it.
It’ll make sense later.
