After His Heart – II

My eyes on One.

Keep His Word. Keep all of His word. Every last, life-giving, course-correcting, heart-piercing, spirit-lifting word.

Know Him as a Person – well enough to cast all I am and have onto Him.

“He that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.” – Ps 32:10

“Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.” – Heb 12:12-13

It is working. Hands strong enough to pick up the pens again today. Walk with much less stepping-on-coals sensation. Hip doesn’t feel out of place anymore. It is good. Slow, but good. The body is catching up with the mind and heart.

Was a ‘blow’ to have had to double Prednisolone; pray that 2 Thursdays from now, we can begin stepping down. It may take the better part of the next 1-2 years to get down to where we were before, but will be fighting. All the way.

Sustained by prayer, encouragement from those dear and near – and not so near. They have themselves been tried, so they do not offer empty words. Thankful for & inspired by them 🙂
