“Yay, downhill for this stretch!”
“Ok… but I’m thinking it means there must be an uphill stretch later AGAIN…”
“Hmm, gotta think longer term… satay tonight, remember??” 🙂
“Haha, yes! Satay, satay, satay, satay…”
“We’re done already? Wow, walking back sure seemed faster than walking there…”
The journey is much easier when you know what the end looks like/is.
An anticipated lunch
I *love* noodles in gravy or soup. Too much I think.
Loved the fook cheok rolls too!
Over to Salvation & Evangel. Guess what was playing as we stepped in? This. Gave me goosebumps. What were the odds?!
More good music…
… and more than a few thoughts.
Chill with a good book. Mixed feelings re-reading scribbles on the side from 2 years back – and the time in between. Gratitude, hopefulness, wistfulness, comfort, peace. Interesting how the same lines still move me now… I read new depths in them.
I don’t eat liver, but this chicken liver satay was surprisingly nice… Maybe it was the addictive peanut sauce…
Another late night sweet finish :p
