In the twinkling of an eye

Easter morning.

Psalm 139.

Storm before a baptism.

High tide, surging waters. The same waters are placed on a head and surround a body, a life given over to the Lord.

He commands the wind and the waves.

“Victory” doesn’t exist if there are no battles.

This is the victory we continually live – incredible triumph in the midst of choppy seas.

Recognise Him in the storm.

Baptised into His death, but also His unquenchable life.

We are Easter people.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” – 1 Cor 15:51-52
