More reflection on John Rutter’s music today. A good companion for today’s designing. A different kind of designing today. How will it go? Only God knows. I’ll be there, and see how He teaches and moves.
I love how the designing isn’t generic. I love how I’m getting to put 2 things which I take such joy in, together: visuals/graphics work (thinking & learning visually), and the Word of God – Himself revealed. Thankful.
Are these very tiny glimpses of His heart?
How does He feel when He’s putting together non-generic curriculum for each of us, tailored to our specific learning & development needs? Made to measure. Made to hit right at the heart of things, on target. Made to bring joy when insight comes, and the ones who learn become stronger in many ways. Yet also aware of where the toughest bits of learning will happen – and putting all that’s needed, in place, so that the ones who learn come through well. When the ones who learn, struggle – to hold back from stunting growth by short-circuiting the process.
How does He feel, being both the Story and the Storyteller? Great must be His delight when He sees us reading Him! How He must laugh with pleasure when we find the gems in His narratives, and learn to live them out in trusting dependence.
