Make the Ordinary Special

Today I made the ordinary special. Quite thoughtlessly.

Slaving over a deck of slides – but one that I’m happy to be messing around in – and felt peckish. (Ok, it was one of my 593 ways to procrastinate and put off getting to THAT particular slide in the deck… Denial is so futile…)

Wandered around the house and found a packet of milk biscuits. Just the right amount of kiam-kiam (saltiness) I was looking for.

A regular plate didn’t feel right. Pulled out an ice cream bowl – seemed better.

Apparently the biscuits thought so too – they fell out of their packaging nicely this way:

And I realised: ooh, it’s a special ordinary moment.

I like special ordinary moments 🙂
