This morning, Singapore woke up to news of the inevitable.
Mr. Lee Kuan Yew passed on at 3.18am, going gently into the dawn.
People are grieving in so many ways, whether they knew him or not, whether they liked him or not.
For me, a time to be even more still, quiet, and hidden than usual.
Was painful watching PM Lee’s public address. He didn’t look like a Prime Minister. He was just a boy who’d just lost his father.
Thank you, PM Lee, for sharing your father with us over a lifetime, so that we can have everything we enjoy today, seen and unseen.
Thank you, Mr. Lee, for giving your life. They just don’t make men like you anymore.
The father of a nation, returning to his Father.
